Nothing is really free and when a professional offers immigration advice for free you should be suspicious. The reason is because if they offer advice for free it may mean they will try to take money from you in another way, for example: by making up immigration programs that do not really exist but suspiciously fit your profile.
Remember that if you do not want to waste your time and would like full attention while being assessed, you have the right to demand it. You get what you pay for – and if a lawyer or consultant who offers free consultation does not see a potential client in you, then the attention you deserve will be deviated from within the first few minutes of the consultation. On the other hand, if you are paying a fee, regardless of the amount, you have every right to a complete assessment of your immigration profile.
At Global Advising Group, we charge a modest fee for a first consultation. The price is by session, not per hour; and during the assessment, we do the following
- During the first part of the meeting you explain your case and needs while our consultant listens carefully and take notes.
- The immigration consultant ask the necessary questions to assess whether a program is suitable for you.
- After reviewing the information, the immigration consultant will explain to you whether there is an option or viability in your case and the reason why or why not.
- When providing a final assessment, whether it has a positive outcome or not, the immigration consultant will always base her answer in law and provide you with the material, legal provisions and copy of the notes to take home with you for your future reference.
- The immigration consultant will follow up with you by email after the meeting and will respond to reasonable questions in order to clarify any doubts left at the initial meeting.
- The amount you pay is considered a credit on your account to be used toward any immigration proceeding within the subsequent 3 calendar months.
If you are not satisfied with the consultation provided and have reasonable grounds to believe you are not getting the right advice, your consultation payment will be refunded.
