The fear to re-apply for a visa after being refused is a common feeling, especially when the applicant was over confident while filing the first application and the result was not positive.
If you are considering to re-apply there are several factors that must be considered in prior to filing the new application, for example, whether to wait some time before applying again or whether to do it immediately. In some cases, it is good to do it right away whereas for other people is just better to allow some time go by.
For example, if a person’s application was refused because of lack of documentation, it would be better to re-submit the application right away including the missing documents. If the motive of refusal was because of lack of funds or travel history, then that’s a different story, in most cases; it may be smart to wait some time to keep records of the things originally missing. In practice, it all depends an each case because the circumstances of a person could vary quite faster than for others.
The refusal letters sent by CIC usually specify that you can apply again if new information and your circumstances have changed. However, there is no specific timeframe for those circumstances could work different ways for each applicant.
